Autistic Counseling, Assessment, and Equitherapy
Wilderwood Counseling and Equitherapy provides neurodivergent-affirming mental health services specializing in autism and ADHD primarily for adult women aged 25 and older. Led by Dr. Rebecca Evanko, a licensed mental health counselor and late-diagnosed autistic woman, the practice offers:
- Traditional counseling with an autistic-affirming lens, both in-person and by Telehealth autism
- Autism and ADHD diagnostic assessments for adults aged 25+, with a focus on females
- Equitherapy (equine-assisted psychotherapy) conducted with horses.
Services are particularly designed for undiagnosed or late-diagnosed autistic women navigating identity reconstruction and understanding their neurodivergence. Please note that the programs are designed for adults aged over 25 years and do not serve children.
